Who is responsible for your data
The website you visit decides why BragWatch is used and is normally the data controller or business responsible for its visitor data. BragWatch provides analytics processing for that website owner.
This shared notice may be linked from every participating website. A website may also publish site-specific terms identifying its legal entity, contact details, lawful basis and retention period. Those site-specific details apply to your relationship with that website.
Information BragWatch may collect
Page path and title, landing page, referrer, campaigns, session identifier, navigation, page views, scrolling and visit duration.
Device category, browser and operating system. Linux is not treated as a bot solely because it is Linux.
Country, region and city derived from network information when enabled. Precise GPS location is not collected.
Clicks, downloads, forms, contact actions, cart and checkout stages, purchases and configured outcomes.
Performance measurements, web vitals, 404 requests, broken links and redirect activity.
Automation, user-agent, trusted interaction and network-provider signals used to distinguish people, AI agents and bots.
Why information is used

Cookies and browser storage
The standard visitor tracker does not require advertising cookies. It uses limited session storage for an anonymous session identifier and the initial acquisition source. This is normally removed when the browser session ends.

Consent and privacy choices
Where consent is required, the website should request it before optional analytics begins and provide an equally accessible way to withdraw it. Declining optional analytics should not block ordinary website content.

Service providers and transfers
Hosting, database, security and operational providers process limited data needed to deliver and protect BragWatch. BragWatch does not sell visitor information.
Approximate location and network classification: when enabled, the IP address is transmitted securely to ipwho.is to obtain country, region, city and network-provider information. BragWatch may store the returned approximate location, network organisation and data-centre risk label, but not the raw IP in analytics event records. The provider’s own privacy terms govern its processing.
Retention and deletion
Each website owner configures its analytics retention and should limit it to what is necessary for reporting, security and legal obligations. Aggregated statistics may remain after underlying events are deleted where they no longer identify a visitor. Backup copies may remain temporarily until normal rotation completes.

Contact the website you visited first and provide its address, approximate visit date, device/browser and request type. Because BragWatch uses pseudonymous identifiers, reasonable details may be needed to locate a record, and analytics data may not always be connectable to a named person.
Children’s privacy
BragWatch is not designed to create behavioural profiles of children. Websites directed to children must apply appropriate age, consent and data-minimisation protections required by their jurisdiction.
